I am Dr. Marina Bunch, a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, a qualified supervisor, a nationally certified counselor, and a certified clinical trauma professional. I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and a Ph.D. in counselor education. For the past 15 years, I have been dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and mentoring and supervising the next generation of counselors.

My clinical specializations include early childhood mental health, family and couples counseling, perinatal mood disorders, trauma, adoption-related issues, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. I have extensive training in evidence-based practices such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Adoption Competency, Circle of Security Parenting, Fussy Baby, and Families Moving Forward.

I approach counseling through a person-centered, attachment-based, and systems lens, helping clients build meaningful connections within themselves and with those around them. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where growth and healing can occur.

With experience spanning clinical practice, supervision, and leadership, I am well-prepared to provide compassionate, high-quality services to individuals, families, couples, and registered interns. My leadership roles have also equipped me to offer specialized consultation services to organizations.

Beyond my private practice, I am proud to serve as a core faculty member at the University of the Cumberlands’ Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I enjoy giving back to the counseling profession by mentoring and teaching future counselors and contributing through scholarship and research.

On a personal note, I am married with two wonderful daughters and two beloved dogs, Butter and Honey. Originally from Brazil, I love staying active, spending time with my family, and traveling, especially to reconnect with my home country.
