Hello! I’m Dr. Marina Bunch, a licensed mental health counselor, a national certified counselor, a qualified supervisor in Florida, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Holding a master's in clinical mental health counseling and a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision, my passion lies in supporting children, couples, and families, supervising counselors toward licensure, and providing consultation and training. I’ve had the pleasure of doing this work since 2006, and I have over a decade of nonprofit experience, resulting in extensive clinical, supervisory, leadership, and administrative expertise. This experience has prepared me to provide quality therapeutic services, clinical supervision, specialized consulting services, and training to organizations and individuals.
Clinically, I specialize in infant and early childhood mental health, family and couples counseling, perinatal mood disorders, trauma, adoption-related issues, and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. I have experience and advanced training in various evidence-based practices, such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention®, Adoption Competency, Circle of Security Parenting, Fussy Baby, and Families Moving Forward.
Alongside my role as a clinician, I am a full-time core faculty member in the clinical mental health counseling program at the University of the Cumberlands. I am dedicated to preparing and mentoring future counselors and contributing to the counseling profession through research and scholarship.
Whether you are an individual seeking counseling for yourself, your child, or your family, a registered intern seeking supervision towards licensure, or an organization in need of consultation or training, I look forward to meeting and working with you!
